Pascale Viscardy interviewed Vermeir & Heiremans for Flux News #87
The interview elaborates mainly on Vermeir & Heiremans’ recent work and practice, 7 WALKS (resolution). In 2021 they collaborated with the Musee de la Ville d’eau in the thermal town of Spa to realise a series of public walks and a Cabinet de lecture
The interview also creates links with Vermeir & Heiremans’ other work, concerning questions of governance (of natural, social and cultural resources) and their focus on a more balanced distribution of value.
And finally, they discuss Jubilee, the artist-run platform for artistic research they co-founded in 2013. Next to supporting the research and work of its artists, Jubilee engages in collective research projects with associate artists that all share a concern for the sustainability of artistic practices.
