On the invitation of the Elisabeth Strouven Foundation, the cross-border SPACE unpacks a large number of works from its art collection. Through these works, SPACE Collection is creating an independent network of Belgian, Dutch and German artists in this European region. The foundation opens its doors by appointemnt to visitors to visit the exhibition.
Since 2002, SPACE network establishes a crossborder collection of contemporary art. With the aim of supporting artists, it also stimulates the meeting between citizens, artists, cultural actors, governments and companies. This exhibition presents a selection from its collection, including its latest acquisitions by SPACE Maastricht.
This exhibition marks the meeting of SPACE network and the Foundation by showing contemporary art and making discover again a collection. It is also the prospect of other joint actions, always with the desire to build close links between the cities of Euregio.
