Known for his unique combinations of spatial recordings of environmental sound and the resonances of buildings and materials, British-Dutch artist Justin Bennett has created a specially commissioned sound walk experience, which premiered at Rewire 2019. Entitled Central Imaginary District, the sound walk combines spatial recordings, found sounds, archival material and interviews with residents in response to The Hague’s latest development project, the ‘Central Innovation District’.
