Masquerade addresses a specific intersection of the contemporary art and finance markets. Melville’s novel The Confidence Man: His Masquerade (1857) functions as the structure for its episodic narration. The film takes its name from the subtitle of Melville’s novel. In their film, Vermeir & Heiremans present the financial market as the ‘mise en scene’ and a leading character of the narrative.

Suitcase Illuminated is a nomadic project selecting video pieces and other art media from different countries, curated by Katia Anguelova and Alessandra Poggianti.

Carico Massimo is an independent art space that started in 2012 in the former Magazzini Generali in the port of Livorno. It is a place for meeting and experimentation between different artistic economies.
