Vermeir & Heiremans will take part in a one-month residency at Tokyo Wonder Site in September 2015.
Tokyo Wonder Site is an art center dedicated to the generation and promotion of new art and culture from the heart of Tokyo. Tokyo Wonder Site Residency has opened in late 2006, offering the opportunity for creative individuals from all genres and nationalities to pursue their respective work in a shared process.
In Tokyo Vermeir & Heiremans will mainly work on issues related to the financialization of architecture (real estate) and art. They also aim to develop their upcoming artist publication In-Residence Magazine #3.
