Vincent Meessen will discuss his exhibition Patterns for (re)cognition and other recent works with the American sociologist Avery Gordon. She has been focusing on socially constructed worlds, problems, and persons haunted by the shadows and ghosts of their constructions.
Meessen en Gordon will discuss the invisible power relations that operate within the abstract apparatus that is presented in the exhibition.
The exhibition can be visited before and after the lecture, from 6 to 10PM.
